It’s been 22 years since my perception of the world changed. While some of those memories are fuzzy, others are perfectly clear. I remember a lot of teachers scared, no one knowing what to do, and the entire world just stopping. I was in first grade.
We lost 3000 people: cops, firefighters, EMTs, a chaplain, and thousands of ordinary Americans.
