June 5th, 1944. The 101st and 82nd Airborne Divisions of the U.S. Army and the British 6th Airborne Division are loaded onto their planes, ready to jump into Hitler’s Fortress Europe behind the Atlantic Wall. They would be the first soldiers of the promised liberation of Europe.
