There has been an absolutely massive change in the political atmosphere since President Biden dropped out. We have seen the Democratic Party rally around Vice President Harris with breathtaking speed and raise nearly half a billion dollars in a week. There has been a substantial amount of buzz around the Veepstakes, generating even more interest than usual.
Victories come in degrees and landslides (or tsunamis) are the most decisive of all. Remember, friends, that we must do the work to build toward the chance of a landslide; that democracy is a verb. In order to keep the Senate, we need a great night. It is not a given. But we can make it so by knocking doors, making calls, and doing the work that is required of citizens to keep their republic.
For the record: I believe that scenario two is the most likely to happen. This is simply an exercise of to the different levels of victory and what they might look like.
